Baby Carly Ann Mordock

Carly Ann Mordock, age 1 month and 15 days, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry, IA. Services will be 10 AM, Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center, 809 W. Montgomery Street, Creston, IA with Pastor Joe Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Creston. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Carly Ann Mordock was born on August 13, 2019 in Creston, the daughter of Jennifer (Mordock) Self and Justin Hornyak. Carly was welcomed home by her big brother, Tyler Werner.
Carly will always be loved by her parents, Jennifer and Justin of Creston; brother, Tyler of Earlham, IA; Grandparents: Steve and Rebecca Colburn of Creston, Richard Mordock and Stacy Miller of Creston, Brenda Hornyak of Osceola and Greg Morton of Des Moines, IA; great-grandparents: Jim and Carol Price of Cave Junction, Oregon, Andy and Jeanette Colburn of Council Bluffs, IA, Lonnie Wright and Mina Hickman of Mt. Moriah, Missouri; Carly is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Carly was welcomed in heaven by her brother, Easton Werner; great-grandparents: Johnny and Cynthia Waddle, Bill Mordock, Lou O’Dell, Nelda and Richard Morton; and by an uncle, Ricky Mordock. May God grant comfort and strength to those who mourn.
