Betty Marie Page, daughter of Harold Irvin and Martha Johanna Henrietta (Schonfeldt) Sevier, was born on August 18, 1924 in Creston, Iowa. Betty entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Crest Haven Care Centre in Creston, Iowa at the age of eighty-eight years, nine months and twenty-five days.
On July 4, 1942, Betty was united in marriage to William Junior Page in Maryville, Missouri and six children were born to bless this union: Judy, Linda, Steve, Mike, Pam and Richard who died as child.
The couple lived in Kent raising their family for more than fifty years where Betty was a homemaker, housewife and mother.
Betty loved baking and was especially known for her amazing breads and pies. Betty also liked to crochet and solving Word Find Puzzles but what she looked forward to the most was sitting on her porch swing with her husband as a way of enjoying each others company and the life they created.
Left to cherish Betty’s memory is her daughter, Judy (Gene) Clark, Creston, Iowa; daughter, Linda (John) Roach, Kent, Iowa; son, Steve (Linda) Page, Prescott, Iowa; son, Mike (Shirley) Page, Creston, Iowa; daughter, Pam (Bob) McKee, Creston, Iowa; fourteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; step-great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Larry (Shirley) Sevier, Macksburg, Iowa; sister, Ruby England, Gladstone, Missouri and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2001; son, Richard Page; three grandchildren, including granddaughter, Trudy Jacobsen; siblings: Jim Sevier, Dorothy Sterling and Hazel Parson.
