Bruce David Goodelle, son of Richard and Gertrude (Zare) Goodelle, was born in Albany, New York on April 19, 1939. Bruce entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Creston Nursing and Rehab in Creston, Iowa, at the age of sixty-nine years and twenty-six days.
After graduating from high school, Bruce was employed by the Nickel Black Co., in Cortland, New York, as a Forklift Operator (Foreman) for thirty-five years.
Bruce was a member of the Elks Club and the Moose Lodge in Cortland, New York.
Left to cherish Bruces memory is his ex-wife, Rose Goodelle; step-children: Frank and Marie Mills (children, Frank Jr., Trey, Andrew, Steven and Madison, of Corning, Iowa, Seth and Cassie) of Florida; Jeff and Linda Mills
(children, Kiamesha, Jarod and Clarissa) of Cameron, Missouri; Terry and John Grahm, son, John Grahm Jr., of Vass, North Carolina, Roselia Cornell (children, Elizabeth and James) of Owego, New York; Buck and Cathy Mills (children, Justin, Buck Jr., Michael, Lucas, Zach and Samantha) of Garretson, South Dakota; Bob and Buffy Mills (children, Shantelle, Roxanne and Regina) of South Ostelic, New York; Angel Sharpsteen, daughter, Jayden, of Corning, Iowa.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and great-grandson.
Bruce has been cremated and no inurnment is planned.
