Carol Paragas Evans

Interment will be at the Graceland Cemetery in Creston. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
Carol Marie Paragas Evans, the daughter of Harry and Charlotte Romine, was born on December 27, 1914, at Rensselaer, Indiana. Carol entered eternal rest on November 30, 2007, at Brighton Gardens, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of ninety-two.
Carol graduated from high school in Indiana. She married Dr. Modesto Paragas who passed away in 1965. She later married twice more and here husbands preceded her in death.
Carol was a homemaker all her life. Carol lived in Creston from 1935 - 1975. She also lived in Sun City, AZ for several years. Carol was a member of the P.E.O. and a former active member of the Congregational Church for many years.
Left to cherish Carols memory are her sons: Phil (wife Betsye) Paragas, Omaha, NE; Dr. Rodney Paragas, Santa Barbara, CA; three grandchildren: Roshelle Ball; Randy Paragus and Charlotte Bartusiak; and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding Carol in death were her parents; her husbands; and one brother: Leon Romine.
