Cheryl Jane Price, the daughter of Frederick and Anna Louise (Hillebran) Kalar, was born in Creston, Iowa on March 11, 1953. Cheryl attended Creston Public School and began working at an early age. She worked as a Waitress most of her life. Cheryl waitressed at the café in the Creston Sale Barn and also performed janitorial work at the Montgomery Street Pub in Creston.
Cheryl was united in marriage to Albert Donner in Creston and the couple were blessed with the birth of 2 daughters: Patricia and Tracy. The family lived in Chariton, Iowa for a few years and then moved to Burlington, Iowa where they remained for many years. The couple later divorced.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her significant other and life partner, Rusty Davis of Creston, Iowa; by her 2 daughters: Patricia (husband Clint) Leighty of Ankeny, Iowa and Tracy (husband Steve) Huff of Yankton, South Dakota; by Rusty’s 2 children that Cheryl thought of as her own, son, Dalton Davis of Corning, Iowa and daughter, Caitlin (husband Michael) Jacquard of Jefferson, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Cheryl is also survived by her sister, Linda Freeman of Creston, Iowa; her brother, Gary (wife Tara) Kalar of Burlington, Iowa; and by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
