Corinna Morehouse

Corinna Marie Morehouse, Age 40, of Prescott, Iowa, passed away at her home on January 13, 2025.

Corinna was born February 28, 1984 in Corning, Iowa, the daughter of Ricky and Debra (Shinkle) Morehouse. She was baptized into the Prescott United Church in Prescott, Iowa, in 1989.

Corinna graduated from Clarke High School in Osceola, Iowa in 2002. She began working right after high school. Corinna enjoyed working with the public so she held various customer service jobs over the years . She also loved helping people so she worked with disabled or disadvantage people to help to make their lives better.

Corinna’s greatest accomplishment in life was her son, Dylon. She was so proud of him and proud to be his mother. To put it simply, he was her world. She also very much loved spending time with her family. Corinna loved her brothers dearly. Even though they were four years apart, Corinna and her older brother Ricky could have passed as twins. Her other brother Jesse came eight years after her and she was so protective of him.

Corinna was never a shy person. She was known for her kind heart and infectious smile. She will be remembered for her passion for life and her devotion to helping others. Corinna made a lasting impact on those who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.

Remaining to cherish Corinna’s memory are her son Dylon Richman, father Ricky Morehouse Sr (Maggie), brothers Ricky Morehouse Jr (Robin) and Jesse Harrison,

step-brothers Brian (Ashley) and Sean (Amanda) Bloomfield, step-sister Danielle Sanvee, grandfather Floyd Shinkle and numerous, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceding Corinna in death are her mother Debra Morehouse, step-father Harvey Harrison Jr, grandparents Ada Hardisty and Neal and Mary Morehouse, aunt Christina Dimmler, nephew Ricky Morehouse III and niece Annie Morehouse.

A Celebration of Life for Corinna will be held at the Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center in Corning, Iowa on January 31, 2025 at 3:00 PM. Mr. Frank Johnson will officiate.
