Donna (Starlin) Tillman

Donna Darlene (Starlin) Tillman, the daughter of Cyril Donald and Viola Darlene (Dukes) Starlin, was born October 3, 1947 in Creston. She was educated in the Creston Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1965. Donna married Bill Tillman in Creston and two daughters, Gentry and Nikki, were born to this union. Bill and Donna later divorced.
Donna worked on the assembly line at Bunn-O-Matic as a faithful and loyal employee for 36 years. She never missed a day of work and had perfect attendance for every one of those 36 years. When Donna was not working, she loved to cook and was a wonderful baker. She loved being outdoors, camping at the State Fair or visiting Boone, IA for Puffer Billy Days. She is lovingly described as a tough and strong woman with wisdom beyond her years. Donna had a very special place in her heart for her grandchildren.
Preceding Donna in death were her parents, Cyril and Viola Starlin.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Gentry (husband Mike) Miller of Lenox and Nikki (husband Chad) Hightshoe of Boone, IA; her three grandchildren: Taylor Foster, Zoey and Jake Hightshoe; three step-grandchildren; Grant, Bailey and Josie Miller. Donna is also survived by her brothers: Don (wife Lexie) Starlin of Creston, Mont (wife Dee) Starlin of Diagonal and Harold Starlin of Creston; her sisters: Karen (husband Gary) Zabel of Lenox, Michelle (husband Greg) Jobe of Ellston. Debbie (husband Kevin) Creveling of Ellston and Sherri (husband Jerry) Calvin of Lenox; a very special friend, Linda Johannes of Corning, her dog, Sass; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
