Eiffel A. Rusk

Eiffel Anna Rusk, the daughter of Jacob R. and Alice (Roberts) Stroup, was born on October 13, 1908, at Afton, Iowa. Eiffel entered eternal rest on May 21, 2009, at the Creston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Creston, Iowa, at the age of one hundred years.
Eiffel married Leland Charles Rusk on Christmas Day, December 25, 1927, at Afton, Iowa. One child was born to bless this union, Leland, Jr. Eiffel has lived in Corrales, New Mexico; Green Forest, Arkansas and various other places. She has lived in Creston for more than ten years. Eiffel was a homemaker and also worked as a sales person for J.C.Pennys.
Eiffel was a former Member of the Christian Church; a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Thayer, IA ; and a Member of the First United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish Eiffels memory is her Daughter-in-Law: Lois Rusk, Texas; Granddaughter: Marcia (Frank) Riley, Creston; Grandson: Randy Rusk, Australia; Four Great-Grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Eiffel was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leland in 1988; son Leland Rusk Jr. in 2005; Sisters: Glea White, Vera Coker, and Elta White; and triplet siblings, Bernice Clark, Beulah Stoner, and Bernard Stroup.
