Emma Susie Fry

Emma LaVon “Susie” Fry, the daughter of Chancey E. and Fern LaVon (KinKennon) Miller, was born December 7, 1953, in Iowa City, Iowa. Susie passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at her home in Kent, Iowa at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 18 days.
Emma was united in marriage to Terry Dean Fry on July 9, 1999 in Cedar Park, near Creston, Iowa. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide for Crest Haven Care Center for several years. Emma was an avid reader and enjoyed making her beaded jewelry to give to family and friends.

Left to cherish Emma’s memory is her loving husband Terry of Kent, Iowa; her children: Robert (Leslie) Miller, Leadville, CO; Brian VanScoy and significant other Mae Green, Creston; Beverly VanScoy, Creston; Sara Madison and significant other David Hanson, Creston; Crystal Crittenden, Kent; Joshua (Alicia) Dewees, Conway AR; Tonya Knight, Fayetville, AR; Shane Dewees, Creston; Christopher (John) Peterman, Altoona, IA; her many grandchildren; brothers: Michael KinKennon, RidgeCrest, CA; Timmy Kohl and significant other Bobbie Bartley, Creston; sisters: Linda Lemon and significant other Mark Bureess of Missouri; Lynn LaRue, Dumont, IA; Joanie Kohl and significant other Lester Franke, Creston; Susie is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and her friends.
