Gail A. Kinser, son of Eligah and Bessie (Sowers) Kinser, was born June 5, 1940, west of Griswold. Gail entered eternal rest at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the age of seventy-eight years.
At a young age, the family moved to town. Gail went to work for Baldwin Dairy at the age of seven delivering milk, door to door. On September 7, 1958, he married Sandra Guss in Villisca. They had two daughters: Gaillyn and Lori.
Gail worked at Baldwin Dairy for 25 years, Henningson Construction, Hemphill Seed & Grain, and the Burlington Northern Railroad. He also loved helping farmers plant and harvest their crops.
Gail enjoyed going to flea markets, garage sales, auctions, collecting farm toys, and gardening as well as having afternoon coffee at TJ’s Café. His greatest joy was his daughters, three grandsons, and four great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Sandra; his daughters: Gaillyn Garey and Lori Kinser; his grandsons: Eligah Garey, Israel Garey (Danelle), and Dakota Garey (Brittany) and great-grandchildren: Paysen, Bristol, Tinley, and Oliver; sisters: Charlotte (Richard) Pierson, Onie (LD) Clark, Goldie Adams, and CB (Todd) Williams; also many nieces, nephews and friends.
Gail was preceded in death by his parents, brother Glenn Kinser, and nephew Fred Kinser.
