Jeff Clark

Jeffrey Glenn Clark, the son of James Vernon, Sr. and Barbara Grace (Dunmire) Clark, was born on March 24, 1961 in Iowa City, Iowa. Jeff entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Crest Haven Care Center in Creston, Iowa at the age of 60 years.

Jeff attended elementary school in Las Vegas, Nevada and high school in Des Moines, Iowa until the 11th grade. He graduated from Winterset High School with the class of 1979. In 1979 he entered the United States Navy and was discharged in 1986. Jeff was a hard worker. He worked various jobs throughout his life including a time as a construction worker, Bunn, Crestmoor Golf Club and Wellman’s. On January 27, 1995 he married Lesha Lynette Hartman in Creston.

Jeff loved to read and was a fan of old western and science fiction movies. He also enjoyed all types of music.

Left to cherish Jeff’s memory is his wife, Lesha of Creston; children: Jeffery Glenn Clark, Jr. of Virginia, James Michael (Nina) Clark of Des Moines, Iowa, Kasie Robinson of Winterset, Iowa and Lara Suzanne (Ethan) Anderson of Creston, Iowa; his grandchildren; brothers: James Vernon Clark, Jr. of Des Moines, Iowa, Ralph Clinton Crouse of Wichita, Kansas and Harry Lyle (Linda) Crouse of St. Joseph, Missouri; sisters: Julia Ann Clark of Des Moines, Iowa and Jackie Kay (Raymond) Clark of St. Charles, Iowa; mother-in- law, Becky Hartman of Creston, Iowa; along with many other relatives and friends.

Preceding Jeff in death were his parents; step-parents; sons: Corey Allen and Colby Lyn; daughter, Randy Nicole; sister-in-law, Lorrie Crouse; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lois and Jerry Monday and father-in law, Bill Hartman.
