John C. Mott

John Carl Mott was born in Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa on May 8, 1941. He went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2008, at the Creston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Creston, Iowa, at the age of sixty-six.
John grew up on a farm outside of Urbandale, then moved to California where he spent most of his life. He moved to Creston about six years ago to be near his sister, Jane Lowe. He was an Engineer for American Micro Devices of San Jose, California.
John is survived by his daughters: Bobbi (husband Steve) Hall, and Valarie (husband David) Higley; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of San Jose, California; his sisters: Barbara Cairns, Ankeny; and Jane Lowe, Creston; many nephews and nieces; and also his buddy, Chandler Parker.
Preceding John in death were his parents; a sister: Helen Keeling; a brother: Bobby Carl Mott; and a nephew: Robert Jack Miller.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 17, at the home of Jane Lowe, 1203 W. Jefferson, Creston, Iowa. The family invites you to come and share good memories of John.
