Kathryn Clark Bennett Cody

Kathryn Clark Bennett Cody passed away on June 1st in Dayton, Tennessee at the age of 93. Kathryn was born March 31, 1918, in Creston, Iowa. She graduated from Creston High School in 1937. Kathryn married H.R. (Bob) Bennett and they had two sons, Gary Bennett and Phil Bennett who presently live in Spring City and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Kathryn has nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Later she married William Cody. Kathryn was the third oldest of seven children (Earl, Ruth, Kathryn, Harold, Mildred and twins Dick and Bob), all of which preceded her in death. Kathryn was a life member of both the Eastern Star and the White Shrine, serving as Worthy High Priestest in 1955-56.
Kathryn will be buried at Graceland Cemetery here in Creston on Tuesday, June 7th at 1:30 P.M..
