Kevin Douglas Bradley was born in Creston, Iowa on February 10, 1957, the 4th of 8 children born to Kenneth Dean and Colleen (Allman) Bradley. Kevin was educated in the Orient Public Schools and graduated Orient High School with the Class of 1976. Following high school, Kevin immediately went to work for his dad, working on heating and air conditioning systems. Then, he worked a short time for Cordell Construction. Later, he worked for Green Valley Manor providing maintenance for the apartment complex. Kevin was united in marriage to Lisa Lou Fechter on July 27, 1991 in Cromwell, Iowa. The last 10 years of his working life, Kevin was employed at Wellman Dynamics and retired in 2022 due to his declining health. More than anything, Kevin was a self-taught Master Carpenter who could construct or fix anything. He even built his own house, mostly all by himself.
Kevin was an avid deer hunter but also hunted water fowl and other large and small game. He loved playing golf when possible and would go fishing whenever he had the time. Kevin was an Outdoorsman and spent all of his free time in the great outdoors. He had a passion tending to his vegetable garden and loved cooking. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding Kevin in death were his parents; and 4 siblings: Angie Hiatt, Raymond Bradley, Wendy Mason and Teresa Bradley.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Lisa Bradley of Creston, Iowa; 2 sons: Brandon Fry and Charles Fry both of Creston, Iowa; 4 daughters: Aryn (Michael) Prosser of Rockford, Illinois; Kari (Jack) Wolf of Key West, Florida; Kayla (Caleb) Hopson of Waukee, Iowa and Kayte (Luke) McLain of Menlo, Iowa.
