Larry Davis

Larry Ellis Davis the son of William Cleo and Lucille Katherine (Jones) Davis was born on September 8, 1941 in Osceola, Iowa. Larry entered eternal rest on Friday, May 10, 2019, at the EveryStep Hospice House, Creston, Iowa, at the age of seventy-seven years.
Larry attended school in Le Roy, Iowa. On August 27, 1966 he married Joan Leona Reeve in Fontanelle, Iowa. Four children: Lisa, Rusty, William and Tammy would bless this marriage. Larry drove a truck for Henningson Construction for about 20 years. He moved from Scranton to Creston six months ago.
He enjoyed working on small engines, especially lawn mowers or snow blowers and taking care of his dogs. He also was an avid fisherman. Larry was a former member of a C.B. club earlier in life.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Joan Davis of Creston; children: Lisa (Chris) Murray of Creston, Rusty (special friend, Cheryl Price) Davis of Creston, William Davis of Creston and Tammy (Tim) Case of Afton; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Davis of Creston; sister, Marilyn( Bobby) James of Fontanelle; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Preceding Larry in death were his parents, mother and father-in-law, Neva and Gail Reeve; two granddaughters: Ashley Davis and Zoey Biggs; two brothers-in-law: Darrell and Jerry Reeve.
