Maiah Lyn Caron, 28, entered eternal rest Sunday, December 27, 2020. Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to Maiah’s fundraising, tribute fund located online at www.pearsonfuneralhomes.com.
Maiah was born in Omaha, Nebraska on November 6, 1992, the daughter of Christopher Bryan and Terri Lyn (Smith) Caron. Following her birth, Maiah was raised in southwest Iowa in the towns of Glenwood, Stanton and Villisca. As a young teenager, Maiah moved to live in the Kansas City, Missouri area and graduated from high school in Blue Springs, Missouri. She made many friends while in high school and loved socializing whenever possible.
Following graduation, Maiah worked at Best Buy in Kansas City for several years. Most recently, she was employed as a Sales person for Sprint Communications. Due to a disability that began about 5 years ago, Maiah could no longer work and returned to southwest Iowa to be close to her family. She loved spending time with her many friends and family and always had a very out-going personality.
Maiah had a love for animals and being outdoors fishing, swimming and camping. Family was very important to Maiah and she had a very strong faith. She was a beautiful soul and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
Preceding Maiah in death were her paternal grandparents: Romeo and Janet Caron; and her maternal grandmother, Jan Hyink Smith.
Maiah is survived by her father, Christopher Caron of Creston, Iowa; her mother, Terri Smith-Caron of Red Oak, Iowa; a brother, Ky Caron of Red Oak, Iowa and a sister, Savannah Caron of Creston, Iowa; She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
