Paul Raymond Wynn, son of Woodrow Isaiah and Dorothy Louise (Rhine) Wynn, was born on the family homestead three miles north of Prescott, Iowa on May 16, 1947. Paul passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of sixty-five years, ten months and nine days.
Paul attended rural schools and Prescott High School, graduating with the Class of 1965.
On October 2, 1966, Paul was united in marriage to Jacquelyn Arlene Amdor at the United Methodist Church in Brooks, Iowa and to this union five children were born: Debra Arlene, John Raymond, James Woodrow, Matthew Brian and Kimberly Ann.
Paul farmed in Adams County until 1979. Paul worked as a mechanic the majority of his life. He was employed by Dick Blazek at the Ford Tractor Implement starting in 1980 until it closed. Paul then went to work in Prescott for Lyle Weise for several years.
Paul was a member of the National Guard and he was passionate over baseball and especially his favorite team, the New York Yankees.
Left to cherish Pauls memory is his wife, Jackie Wynn of Corning, Iowa; children: Deb (Kyle) James of Decatur, Illinois, John Wynn of Corning, Iowa, Jamie Wynn of Omaha, Nebraska and Kimberly (Brett) Pegg of West Des Moines, Iowa; eight grandchildren: Rebecca and Emma James, Zachary, Amanda and Andrew Wynn, Megan Reese, Jezzi Wynn and Kaden Pegg; brother, Kevin (Joedy) Wynn of Corning, Iowa; sisters: Sandy (Gary) Krauth of Creston, Iowa and Sharon (Ron) Walter of Prescott, Iowa; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; son, Matthew Wynn and his mother and father in law.
