Robby Carter, age 59, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 24th, 2024. He was born March 19th, 1965, in St Joseph, MO to Jacob and Twila Carter, he was the youngest of four boys.

Rob graduated from Orient-Macksburg High School in 1983. After school he spent several years working construction and at various rock quarries in Iowa. His motto in life was “work hard, play harder”.

Rob loved all things, cars and racing. His favorite TV show was Street Outlaws, and you’d always catch him with a race on the TV. His favorite thing was his jeep and going wheeling with his son Tyler and his many friends he made down at MIOBI. Rob loved spending time with his grand kids and always looked forward to visits from his daughter C.J. He especially enjoyed spending his days with his wife, Angel, and building wooden models to display.

Robby was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents; brothers Randy and Roger; sister-in-law, Kathleen Marckmann.

Left to cherish Robby’s memory are his wife Angel of Creston, Iowa; son, Tyler (Sarah) of Des Moines; 2 daughters Brooke Carter of Winterset, Iowa. C.J. (Matthew) Barnes of Murray, Iowa.
