Ronald Lynn Gillham, 67, of Creston entered eternal rest Saturday, July 25, 2020, at his residence in Creston, IA. A private Graveside Service will be held at the Oakland Cemetery @ Quincy, in Adams County, Iowa. Memorials my be directed to The Ronald Gillham Memorial Fund, to be determined. Ronald was born December 14, 1952 to Donald Leslie and Shirley Jean (Shawhan) Gillham. On July 24, 1971, he married Christie Gayle Brown in Creston. Together, they raised two daughters, Valerie and Lori.
Ronald worked for Fansteel Wellman-Dynamics for 35 years and served in the Army for 3 years. Ronald enjoyed working on cars, hunting, fishing, playing in a band and later gaming with his grandson.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Shirley; father-in-law, Otis Brown and mother-in-law, Mary (Robison) Brown.
Left to cherish Ronald’s memory is his wife, Christie of Creston; his 2 daughters: Valerie Beebe of Creston; Lori Mullen (husband Christian) of Prescott, IA; 3 grandsons; Wyatt Beebe of Creston, Taylor Mullen of Johnston, IA and Tanner Mullen (fiancé Padee Ly) of Maplewood, Minnesota. Ronald is also survived by his siblings: Sheryl Karnes of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Robert Gillham (significant other, Cheryl Busby) of Des Moines, IA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
