There will be a reception, following inurnment, at the United Methodist Church in Corning.

Bernadine Crow, 80, of Cherokee, Iowa, formerly of Corning, died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Careage Hills Nursing Home, Cherokee, Iowa, following a brief illness.
Bernadine was born on June 27th, 1928 in Adams County, Iowa to Wilford and Agnes (Lynam) Thomas. She attended rural school and graduated from Corning High School in 1945. On September 21, 1948 she married Albert Francis Crow. Bernadine worked as a bookkeeper for the Farm Service Coop until 1951. She also worked as a bookkeeper for Turners, the Okey Vernon Bank and Allied Chemical Corp. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Emblem Chapter of the Eastern Star, Womens Club and the United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Albert, of 61 years; a daughter, Amy Spunar and her husband Henry of Park Ridge, IL; a son, Bill Crow and his wife Mary of Cherokee, IA; six grandchildren: Christopher and Nicki Spunar, Keenan and Quintin Crow, Sheena Smith and Stephanie (Smith) Thill; a great-grandson, Roman Thill.
