Sharon Kay Kessler, the daughter of Leonard Cecil and Virginia E. (Oshel) Bubb, was born on December 1, 1940, in Lenox, Iowa. Sharon entered eternal rest on September 20, 2010, at Taylor House Hospice, Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of sixty-nine years.
Sharon lived most of her life in Creston. She moved to Runnells about six years ago. Sharon was married to Gerald Erskine for twelve years and they divorced. She later married Dale Kessler. Sharon was a homemaker.
Sharon was a member of the First Christian Church. She was a member of a wildlife organization; and she loved to travel, camp, and go out and look for deer. Sharon wrote poems and letters and loved spending time with her family.
Left to cherish Sharons memory are her daughters: Virnita (husband Jeff) Scott, Altoona; and Shawna Kenworthy (special friend Ron Meath), Des Moines; her son-in-law: Mike Kenworthy, Runnells, IA; her brothers: Richard (wife LaRue) Bubb, Rossiter, PA; and Jerry (wife Maria) Bubb, Houston, TX; her sister: Linda (husband Bob) Spare, Afton, IA; her six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Sharon in death were her parents; her daughter: Vicki Bubb; her son: Rob Ratcliff; her brothers: Danny Bubb, Paul Bubb, and Robert Dale Bubb; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
Memorial contributions may be made in Sharons name.
