Tim King, 61, of Clarinda, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his home. No services are planned, a private family burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Corning at a later date. Timothy “Tim” Charles King was born February 17, 1958 in Corning, Iowa, to James Matthew and Mary Justina (Holbrook) King. He graduated from Corning High School with the class of 1976. In the early nineties Tim moved to Clarinda. For most of his adult life Tim worked in the agricultural industry. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Left to cherish Tim’s memory are his sons: Karl (Kelly) Herring, Corning, Iowa; Matt (Alison) Herring, Corning, Iowa; daughter: Elizabeth King, Clarinda, Iowa; four grandchildren: Logan; Brynlee, Jax and Ava; sister: Nancy Leonard, Lincoln, Nebraska; niece: Darrah (Mike) Munter, Drexel, Missouri; great-nephews: Michael and Trenton.
Preceding Tim in death were his parents; brother: Jim King; brother-in-law: Marty Leonard.
