Virginia Ruth Kunath was born to Stella Grace (Lininger) and Detmer Arlington Wareham on August 14, 1912, in Creston, Iowa. Virginia entered eternal rest on August 4, 2006, at Camilia Rose Care Center, Coon Rapids, Minnesota, at the age of ninety-three years, eleven months, and twenty-one days.
Virginia graduated from Creston High School. She attended Ward Belmont College, Nashville, TN. On June 3, 1938, she married Kerm Kunath at Creston, Iowa. Virginia was a homemaker. She lived in Creston her entire life until moving to Coon Rapids, Minnesota, three years ago.
Virginia was a member of the United Church of Christ (Congregational) Church for many years, and a member of Crestmoor Golf Club. She enjoyed playing golf.
Left to mourn Virginias passing are her daughter: Nancy (Gene) Klaphake, Blaine, MN; three Grandchildren: Katrina (Jack) Klaphake-Bernard; Kristen (Christopher) Klaphake-Russell; Erik (Jenny) Klaphake; and five Great-Grandchildren: Max and Ruby Bernard; Chet and Aiden Russell; and Jaden Klaphake.
Preceding Virginia in death were her parents; her husband in 1996; her Son, Kent in 1959; and her Brother, James Arlington Wareham.
