No public viewing is planned. Inurnment will be at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Cromwell. Memorials may be directed to Greater Regional Hospice of Creston for the Hospice House.
Vivian Loree Killmon, the daughter of Ralph Hugh and Carrie Isabelle (Smith) Clark, was born on September 8, 1927, at Chicago, Illinois. Vivian entered eternal rest on September 16, 2007, at the Afton Care Center in Afton, Iowa, at the age of eighty years and nine days.
On January 5, 1945, Vivian married Richard Dale “R. D.” Killmon at Glenwood, Iowa. R. D. passed away February 13, 2006.
Vivian lived in Creston since 1945. Vivian worked part-time for two years as a school lunch aide for the Creston Middle School. Vivian was a homemaker and a mother. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ and United Transportation Union Ladies Auxiliary.
Left to mourn Vivians passing are her children: Linda Wilson, Creston; Richard “Dick” (Sharon) Killmon, Afton; Five Granddaughters: Shannon Welch, Arispe; Andrea Killmon, Afton; Angee Hartsook, Des Moines; Jodee Goodin, Des Moines; Kellee Wilson, Des Moines; Three Great-Grandchildren: Jordan Welch, Arispe; Kiefer Welch, Arispe and Hunter Hartsook, Des Moines; Brothers-in-Law: Richard Armstrong, Glenwood; Don Fuscon, Des Moines; and Sister-in-Law: Donna Petrie, Moline, IL.
Preceding Vivian in death were her parents; Husband, Richard; Infant Daughter: Patricia Ann Killmon; Son in-Law: Steve Wilson; Great-Granddaughter: Kristin Hope Welch; Sisters: Goldie Armstrong; Ruth Holiday; Frances Cole; Lois Ruggles; Sisters-in-Law: Lois Bradley; Mert Fuscon; Betty Gladwin; Betty Killmon; and Brothers-in-Law: Theo Bradley; Carl Gladwin; Ned Killmon; Don Petrie and Forest Holiday.
